MFT | Cool Cat

Hello there, its bitterly cold here in the UK, so what better way to spend early winter’s day is to do spot of blogging. Today I’m sharing this super cute card that was especially created for gorgeous little cat that I follow on Instagram called Poody who a lovely british shorthair hair who I absolutely adore and she lives with her lovely family in Australia.

To start, created a A2 US card blank form A4 sheet white card that I cut down using guillotine, using score board and tool to score a landscape tent fold card blank. Took a piece of MFT cotton candy card placed onto my silhouette mat, using the silhouette software created a rectangle, which I then cut out on the silhouette.

Next used I used a font on my computer, created Poody’s name, even created offset so I could adhere the letters to the offset, then cut another offset to finish the sentiment. I cut out the sentiments from Papermania textured card into rainbow colours of course, adhered the letters to the backing with glue pen, that was cut from black card on the silhouette.

Placed the cotton candy panel into my misti tool, rubbed the card anti static and took various stamps from this delightful MFT Cool Cats Stamp Set and stamped them onto the card using watermark pad and poured over WOW opaque bright white embossing powder, and repeat the process for each stamped imagine. Heat set with heat tool.

Adhered the sentiment to the centre of this card blank using double sided foam tape. Then I applied double sided tape to the back of the panel. Took this marvellous sentiment from Clearly Besotted Full of Sentiment stamp set, stamped onto black strip of card using watermark pad, then poured over bright white embossing powder an heat set with heat tool. To finish added a few pink sequins adhered with micro glue dots.
